Basics
- What is launchd?
- launchd is a Telegram-native platform for launching products, communities, creative projects and tokens. Every launch gets a dedicated AI agent, a Telegram bot with its own personality, whose only goal is to grow that project.
- What can I launch?
- Anything that’s yours: a product, a community, a creative project or a token.
- Is this related to the launchd on my Mac?
- No. Apple’s macOS has a system tool with the same name. launchd, the Telegram-native launch platform, is a separate product and has nothing to do with it.
- Is launchd part of Telegram?

Your teammate
- What is the “teammate”?
- It’s an AI agent that lives in Telegram as your project’s own bot. It knows your project, speaks in its voice, and works on growing it every day.
- Do I need a team?
- No. You can launch alone, and you’ll have a teammate from the first minute. If you have a human team, your teammate works with them too.
- What does it do without asking me?

- Can it be wrong?
- Yes. It is an AI. It is good and it is tireless and it can still be wrong, which is why you can review what it does and correct it.
- Can I change how it sounds?
- Yes, at any time. You choose the personality and it stays in character everywhere it shows up.
Launching
- How long does it take?

- Do I need a website?
- No. Your project can live entirely in Telegram.
- Do I need to write any code?
- No.
- Can I launch something that already exists?
- Yes. You can bring an existing group, channel or product and give it a teammate.
- Is my thing too small?
- No. There is no minimum. A repair café on one street, a supper club four times a year, a reading group of eight — small is not the same as unserious, and the quiet weeks kill a group of eight exactly the way they kill a group of eight hundred.
- All my people are on WhatsApp. Is this pointless?
- Not pointless, but be realistic: some of them will not move. Start with the few who are keen rather than migrating everyone, and keep the old group as a front door. If nobody will move and a group chat already does everything you need, stay where you are — we would rather say so.
Tokens and the wallet
- Do I need to know anything about crypto?
- No. Most projects on launchd don’t involve a token at all. If you want one, we explain every step in plain language.
- Do I need a token?
- Probably not. A token is a responsibility, not a feature. Read “Does my project need a token?” before deciding.
- What is GRAM?
- GRAM is the currency used by the wallet built into Telegram. It was previously called Toncoin.
- What happens if I lose my recovery words?
- Your wallet cannot be recovered. Not by us, not by Telegram, not by anyone. That is what “only you hold the keys” means.
Safety
- Will launchd ever message me first?
- No. Nobody from launchd or Telegram will message you first asking for money or keys. If someone does, it is not us.
- How do I know a bot is the real one?
- Check the @username character by character against the one published on the project’s own channel. Names and pictures can be copied; usernames cannot.
- Can people in my group see my phone number?
- Not unless you let them. One Telegram setting controls it — Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Phone Number. Set it to My Contacts or Nobody, add a username so people can still reach you, then invite people.
- What if the teammate says something wrong in front of my community?
- You can delete the message, correct what it knows so the mistake does not repeat, and turn approvals back on if you want to read everything first. People can see it is a bot, so it reads as a bot getting it wrong rather than as you. [CONFIRM AGAINST PRODUCT]
